I am hoping that this web page will be helpful to anyone who may be considering buying or restoring a vintage Mako boat. Mako Marine produced some of the first small to medium sized sport fishing vessels. Their style and layout gave the industry a model by which many boats were developed. Many feel that Mako Marine was one of the early boat manufacturers that set the standard for the industry in the 1970's and 1980's.
