so i just ordered a new tank, when i go to install it, do i give it a coat of coal tar epoxy and foam around/on top of it? my second question is where do i run the grounding wires to? i never find any fills that have a grounding tab or anything on it. Is it true i also groung another one to the battery? thanks

This is just my opinion, yes to coal tar and yes to foam around and on top, don't forget underneath.

Most fills won't have a grounding tab, you use a thru-bolt to attach it to the deck and put a ring terminal on the thru-bolt underneath the gunwale
