Any one have a good source? I need a new switch panel, new placards, new anchor locker cover, new console access cover, etc... I sent an email outlining what I need to CJMako, and also to SeaBob, and neither one responded with a hi, go away, boo, nothing.....
A few years ago, I had my stuff made by Vector Imaging, but I understand he has kind of lost it these days. |

I used CJMako a few weeks ago and let me tell you he was great to deal with. He made me a panel the came out great and he was on the phone with me many times. He was easy to reach and any email sent he got back to me fast, in fact he call me more than I call him just to make sure that he was making just what I wanted. I plan to use Chris again just as soon as know what to do with a switch panel. Dennis

This is actually something I have in the works along with a slew of other products and services. Can't get too deep into it this second since it's all in the planning stages and I don't want to step on any toes here but there's a niche to fill that includes these panels. CJmako has been putting together some seriously nice stuff, I'd keep trying him |

Actually sooner or later I will and since you're local........
Its going to take some time, I'm currently sourcing materials and working on establishing something more official than just being a guy with a plan. I already have a CNC guy though |

| Already??!!! WTF! I'm hoping to be ready for a shakedown cruise on the lake after this weekend. After that, I have a TON of detailing to do so I can bring her down to our family place in Westbrook and put her into service. To top it off, my 13 whaler is sitting in our garage with the wood stripped and waiting for me to refinish, I'm going to have to Cetol it and call it done I think. |

Spoke to CJ mako a month ago after problem and falling out with Scott(vector). Very nice conversation. He said he would get back to me and have not heard a peep after that. Had a local co.(south fl.) do a panel for my Hewes flat boats and will give him my work for the 224. Will post their name tommorow.

Michael,
I would love to know who did your Hewes panel. Also, by chance do you have a photo you could post? I am looking to get a new panel made for a 16' Hewes.
Thanks. |

I would be hesitant to us cjmako, as he does not appear to be too good about returning emails, etc... |

No Chris (CJMAKO) is a stand up guy and was bending over backwards to help everyone but it seems no one is able to contact him and he is not returning calls which is not like him at all. Maybe someone that lives near him might know whats up, I hope hes ok. |

CJ has my money for placcards from two weeks ago. Nothing yet, but I'm not in that big a hurry.
However, he did have his aol email hacked, and I believe switched to the same, but at gmail dotcom. Try him there.

BUll, Sending Emails * I've tried time n time again with you & about 5 members I'm trying to 'contact' The messaging system doesn;t work for me. Doesn't work for Blue Chip , Chris, Mark etc etc. Not sure what we're doing wrong or if it's just busted .
Seldom does someone surprise me with such a generous hand up, Thank You So much for going out of your way, taking the time, to send me your old rub rail cut off's & insert. I made it work, & it turned out well. Thanks for saving me 3/400 bucks on a new strip of rubber. :) I'll finish up a cool print or one of my fishing arts. If your on FB you can contact me through flukeskywalkers fishing arts CT. You can tell me what's your favorite fish, so I can get my thank you package out your way.
Thanks so much, Semper Fi patrick |

John,
I just installed a new console access hatch I bought from the boat help guys at the boat help shop. So far I have purchased new step pads with Mako emblems and the new console hatch, which was a perfect fit on my 17 footer. They also have the placards. They are unique cabinetry down in clearwater, FL I believe...check them out at www.boathelpshop.com. |
