Original console gets it’s top cut off in the beginning stages of becoming the leaning post.
Marine plywood top fitted and glassed into place. Front sanded in preparation for glove box fitment.
Side view where access door will be mounted.
Underneath showing all new ¾ inch marine plywood for structural support and to facilitate mounting of misc hatches and hardware.
Console seat cushion is fitted.
Glove box hatch fitted into place.
Tackle storage locker fit in place. Old console light holes filled ready for glass and fairing.
Access hatch door installed.
Removable back rest made from combing section is dry fitted.
All she needs now is paint.
Completed console painted white.
