My attempt at rolling and tipping didn’t go as hoped.  Spent at least 3 weeks buffing and cursing this finish before I got completely frustrated and…

Sanded it all off and did the job right.

Fresh flag blue IMRON sprayed. (heavy sigh) I like it!

Topsides were done in Insignia White.

Now that’s a reflection.

Moondust nonskid was applied.

Bottom was done in CERAM-KOTE 99M instead of bottom paint.  This is a ceramic bottom coat that is used on swimming pools, machines, and multiple marine related structures needing paint or color.  Extremely hard surface.  When applied smooth looks like paint.  Resists bottom growth.  I find out now that it is best for trailered boats or boats that can be pulled at least every three weeks from their slip and washed to prevent bottom growth.  I’ve learned this year that in warmer water temperature environments that bottom growth can be excessive if not tended to regularly.  Therefore I would recommend this mainly for trailered boats or for boats that live in a colder water environment.  Remember apply it smooth not textured.  The textured finish appears to promote faster growth.  I learned this the hard way.

Annie III is home.  Console and leaning post lifted into place and resting comfortably.
