A batch of gelcoat thickened with cabosil was mixed and applied with a spreader. After it cured, it was sanded and cleaned. Then a coat of gelcoat was sprayed.

The holes for the aluminum trim moldings were re-drilled.

Pretty result, I put the tabs, aluminum molding, jackplate, and the transducer mounting pad back in place.

Below deck I had to place a couple layers of glass to fill in where the aluminum backing plate and its washers had sunken into the glass as a result of the accident. Looks pretty sturdy again.

I had to get this engine crane back to the rental place for 8:00am, so waking up at 5:00am to hang the motor was the drill.

Steering, harness, and fuel in place! Almost a usable boat again.

My wife got a great Valentines day gift in that I was no longer going to be working on this thing 24/7!

FINALLY! The road test was conducted in Lake Ponchartrain and some canals near the lake. She ran very good.

I ran about 45 miles. The lake was rough, so I put the boat through her paces.
