This is a sanding board I'm making to attach to the show of my air file. This attachment will make quick work of sanding the drainage channels in the floor.
The inside of this thing will be filled with a slightly thickened epoxy so that it will have maximum adherence to the wood base.
Below is the new radius shoe attached to the air-file. I should get to try it out next weekend.
Not a whole bunch of good news to report from here this weekend. It rained most of the weekend, so I went out and bought a new compressor. I had a spare 220V line in the garage that I was able to hook up with. I was going to wait until I got into our new house, but the owner of the compressor I was using needed his returned. The compressor isn't in a great location, but its the best I could do to keep it simple. I didn't bother taking it off of the pallet since I'll be moving it again within the year.
I did manage to get in the boat today and do some sanding on the drainage channels with the new sanding board I made. It works like a champ. I'll post some pixs in a few weeks.
