Over the last couple few days, I have focused on finishing up the glassing of the side boxes. First step was glassing the seams from behind (inside the boxes). Here's the port box. Each seam got 3 overlapping layers of 1708.

The stbdside looks
just the same so I won't bore you with those. In some of the pics, you can also
see some white gel-coat. I put that on before I glassed the corner boxes in
since those areas are kinda hard to reach with the boxes in place. Also, the
corner box to transom seam on each side had a pretty large gap. I had to re-work
it again to build up that missing part of the corner box panel.
Next up was to grind all the seams from the outer side.

Again, the stbd side looks the same. After that was in place, I glassed each of those seams with 3 overlapping layers of 1708 and one layer of 1.5 oz mat. Those have been sanded and faired flush and are ready for gel-coat.
