I've made some progress since the last update. A friend of mine built these battery posts for me. They'll mount in the bilge area and will be used to connect the battery cables from the helm to the factory cables connected to the engines. He used 3/4 inch starboard and some 3/8 SS bolts. I thought he did a fine job.
I could've bought commercially produced ones but he had the time so I took advantage of his generosity. Saved me a few more bucks too in the process. He also mounted the gauges in the new switch/fuse panels and wired everything up. Should be a snap to connect them in now.
My new Radar unit arrived. It's a 4KW with a 5' array that will interface with my LCX-111C bottom scope. Gonna be a bit of a challenge to find a home for it on my t-top but I'm going to do my best to make it work. If I have to, I'll switch to the 4 ft array.
