On the second coat, I mixed the same ratio and painted the entire boat inside and out, including the areas of deck that will receive non-skid. Almost got full coverage on all primed areas. The hull sides don't look as glossy in this series of pics but believe me, they were.

The interior really came to life!

I set all the hatches and access panels up on some tables in a shady part of the yard. I screwed the access panels on some pieces of landscape timber to make it easier to paint around the edges. These pics are kinda lame though.

The hull sides now have 3 coats on them. I plan to add a 4th and final coat to the hull sides only. It will be mixed at an 8-2-6 ratio which will yield the highest gloss. To this point, I have used just a shade under 2 quarts of paint. The interior smooth sections will get a third coat in just a little while from now. Tomorrow, I'll tape off the non-skid and get started on those parts. I will also paint inside all the floor boxes at an 8-2-2 ratio. Should be re-mounting all the hardware, electronics and stuff by the end of the week.
