Over the last few days, motor hanging and other loose ends have progressed a bit. She's now sporting a pair of 2006 Evinrude ETEC 175's.
I've cleaned up a lot
of loose ends on wiring and what not. Still have a bit left though. Also
discovered that in my stupor during the all-nighter I pulled last Friday, I left
out quite a few screws during the console installation. Gonna have to lift it
back up, clean up all the deck caulking and re-install with new caulk. So that
and the remaining wiring issues will be tackled over the next few days. My
mechanic also had to order a couple wire harnesses that we missed way back when
we ordered all that stuff several months ago. He expects to have that on hand
tomorrow and engine rigging will resume.
I've got a little welding to do on the t-top, electronics to mount and a laundry
list of other miscellaneous items to accomplish. Going to try to finish them all
up by the end of the upcoming weekend. If I can lock down a welder, I just might
make it. Sea Trials would follow next week.
