This weekend, I got intimate with the grinder. All told, I burned through 5 or 6 tyvec suits and dropped 4.5 lbs of pure sweat. But I got most of the grinding done.

I found quite a few areas that had air bubbles or water intrusion, mainly around the strakes on each side. So I went ahead and cleaned them out so they can be properly repaired. Sorry for the funny angle of the pics. Most of these are shot looking straight down.

I also cut each stringer back about a foot or so on each side. They were both solid, dry and in good shape. I'll re-build these later to include a knee section similar to many others I've seen on here. I even tossed in a shoe shot for those who know what I'm talking about.

I've decided to glass the side boxes in from underneath so I won't have much fairing to do above decks. Got the seams on the boat side ground and tapered.
