The fender problem was solved by having these stainless steel ones made. They are a lifetime deal and will outlast the trailer.


The hubs and springs were sand blasted and three coats of cold galvanize sprayed on. Note the tape on the lug threads to prevent them from loading up.


The bunks were 2 x 6 's originally. The Mako's bottom curves upwards near the front. The bunks are not straight. Another 2 x 6 will be first glued / clamped and then bolted together making a substantial 4 x 6 bunk base, then carpeted.


From previous pics (PAGE 9) it was obvious that some of the roller assay's were beyond repair. Thus, this new one.


The guide-ons had carpet glued and sewn on the rollers with mono. You can still see remnants of the carpet. I am looking for new yellow (non marking) rollers to replace these.
