Here is what the bunk layout looks like.
I have added two bunks to the center of the trailer. I don't think you can get too much square footage of support.
Two 2 x 6's were screwed and glued together to make a very substantial bunks. The idea is to distribute weight evenly on the trailer and give a very firm support to the boat.
The yellow side guide on rollers are scarce around here. I had to settle for new black ones.
About all that is left now is to install the carpet and replace two rusty u-bolts, remount the tires, and roll her out. Next installment should wind it up.
Well the trailer is finished up. New stainless fenders, new bunks, all rust sandblasted away recoated with cold galvanizing. Should last a few more years.
