Here are some of the first steps towards getting the Mako ready for use. This is a shot of the motor on Ron's other boat. He will be moving it over to the Mako soon. It is a 1985 Johnson GT 150. It was originally white, but he painted it Graphite ten years ago. It will be painted back white when removed from this boat.

This is the motor cover for the Johnson GT 150 that has been redone in white. The rest of the motor will be painted white when it is removed from the boat it is presently mounted on.

This is the motor currently mounted on the Mako, a 1982 Evinrude 175. There are some reliability issues with it. Even if the motor is repaired, Ron has more confidence with the proven reliability of the GT 150.
