As you can see I am going down the same road that Ken Sheppard already has been down. I originally only wanted to raise the transom 5", but you can see what I ran into. I plan on tearing it up again tomorrow and will send more pics as I go. It's an old 1973 22, but she's a classic. I have tons of things yet to do, but hopefully she will be on the water again in the spring. I will be redoing the console, leaning post, new gas tank, repower, new gauges/controls, T-top....you name it and it's on my list....lol. I can't thank you enough for starting this website. I have been a big Mako fan since I was a kid...there isn't a better fishing machine around, especially the old ones. You guys have given me the confidence to really do this thing right.
