Thought I would finish up the weekend with a few pics of the transom job. Its just about done. I have some final sanding on the splashwell glaze I spread on, and a few coats of primer. then I can move on to the rest of the boat. Looks like I will have just over 500 bucks in the transom job. Here is a pic of the splashwell

Back of transom, still have one more sanding to do. Then may fill once. I used epoxy and cabosil to fair the transom edges. and the same used for a glaze on the inside of the splashwell. This should sand to a smooth tough finish. I was within the 48 hours since glassing in the splashwell so it should bond good. I used fiberglass reinforced filler to fair all the rest of the seams. Mostly because its what I had on hand and it too is a tough product.

Port seam. Ready for primer. Glad this part of the project is coming to an end. My shop is a wreck and I have goo everywhere.
