Just a update on progress, console is filled, primed and blocked. Waiting on paint.

Made some more progress tonight. the transom is ready for primer. I will spend the rest of the week sanding the inside of the hull and removing pieces so as to ready the inside for paint. Really was a good feeling to look back and see the this part of the project come to an end.

I have prepared the liner of the boat for paint. I have sanded and filled till I am worn out. I filled all the holes on the top of the gunnels and deck were things were mounted. I also filled in the bow rail mount screw holes in case I don't reinstall it. All the woodwork has been sanded and ready for finish. I will go with spar-polyurethane I think unless someone has a better Idea. It has been wiped down first time with prep-solv. Will wipe it again tomorrow and tack rag it. I switched gears a little on primer choice and am using a marine epoxy 2 part primer made by z-spar. The wholesale marine supply I work with made me a deal I couldn't refuse. I have shot this on my sons Boston Whaler he and I did this summer and it lays out good. It is recommended under the linear polyurethane I am using for a finish coat. Here are the ready to shoot pics.
