Well I shot the primer tonight. Used a full gallon of epoxy for the entire liner of the boat. I also shot the front compartments as they were the same "baby cuca brown" I worked my way from the front to the back slowly so as to get a full 2 coats down. Got 6 or 7 sags and one Bona-fide grade A run. The paint says its "easy sanding", guess I will find out tomorrow. Only had a couple drunk bugs come out of the woodwork to do artwork on my fresh paint. Different ones have given me great pointers and others encouragement.

Time for a few update pics, and answer a few questions. Yes the shop is a mess, I have this bad habit of cleaning up in-between projects. This one is just taking longer. I have shot in hot and humid weather before and you just need to use the right reducer for the temp. range you will be in. you don't want it to flash off to quick. It would be nice if you could pick a day in the mid to upper 70's.
What am I going to do with it when I am done? Enjoy every minute of fishing the
family can afford. This boat has all the qualities that my 20 Mako lacked. Here
are the pics from tonight. I sprayed 2 coats overall of 2 part polyurethane.
Starting in the front and working my way to the back, I used masking paper to
stand on so as not to get dirt on the area not yet sprayed. I had a tack cloth
in my hand to wipe each area before spraying, and a pair of tweezers to catch
any critters wanting to do artwork in my paint. All the high traffic areas got 3
coats and the area around the back got interlux non skid powder added. Tonight I
didn't get a single run, the urethane is just a better spraying product than the
epoxy. Promise to clean shop soon.

And here is a teaser pic, wish it were spring!!! 23lb king salmon
