Well, I did a little woodwork tonight. Stained and applied my first coat of polyurethane. Will sand and recoat in the morning before work. I know most of you all dont care for the teak, but I really think it looks cool. And I have had enough boats with it to know its a lot of work !

Well, more progress over the weekend, I completed the teak adventure, it turned out good for a guy that's not too good with wood.. I love the looks of it but darned if I can even cut a piece of firewood right!! Then I sprayed the front hatch covers and the console. I also modified a couple of bargain scuppers from e-bay to fit the drain at the transom. I also installed the new garboard plug. rod holders etc. Here are a few pics.

All the teak installed except the back access doors.

Here is the painted console with the teak installed...

Here is the bargain scupper off of e-bay. I cut the whole threaded part off and just used the chrome and rubber valve parts. this mounted on the outside of the boat with 5200.

Here is the scupper on the transom.

Guess its time to post progress, Had to go to Chicago for a week for training and that slowed progress down a little. I have done some wiring and installed the console and steering. I also have been working on the old 225 rude that came with the boat. I have decided to forget that motor and go with a smaller quieter motor.
I found a nearly unused yamaha 115 25inch. 2 stroke. I know its underpowered but my 20 has a 115 and it is perfect for the type of fishing I do. I never seem to have enough gas and bait money anyway.
Anyway here is a pic.
