Wet sanded and buffed first side tonight. I have tomorrow off so hope to finish the rest of the boat. Going to pick up my new to me motor tomorrow. 1996 Johnson 225 ocean runner, and like every other purchase in my life it needs work. But the price was right.

Spent the day replacing the cross members on the trailer cold work outside with the only heat coming from the torch and welder. Then put the old girl back on the trailer for some fresh air. Took a few outside pics of the boat. LOOK no shop clutter. I will defiantly be looking for a newer trailer sometime in the future.

Gauges,
wiring, moving batteries to console. Plumbing. etc.
Saturday I mounted the new to me motor, it was owned by a fire dept. so I had to
sand off some UGLY reddish paint from the lower unit and re-spray. I tonight
mounted a swim platform I salvaged from an old century ski boat. I also replaced
the pie hole with a real hatch.
