Picked up the t-top today and I'm very pleased. The guy had padding all over because he was not sure what I was picking it up with. Picture while at his shop.

I used a 16' double axle trailer which made it very easy to load, strap and transport.

I'm happy with the decision to powdercoat and the finish is nice and glossy, thick and tough. I had a sample piece that I tried destructive testing on and PC is far tougher than any paint surface I tried, Imron and Awlgrip included.
Progress on the inside of the hull has been started. The nicks are being filled and sanded and the gelcoat is being sanded to 320 in prep for Awlgrip. There will some small cracks in the gelcoat near the box and stern. These were glassed with 1" and 2" wide fiberglass strips and epoxy. These will be faired and prepped as well.

Focus on the boat got bumped this week, but I was able to take care of a couple things I wanted to. I was not happy with the deck drains and how they were designed with a deep pocket that would retain water below the scupper. Since I'm using SeaStops, I'm not concerned about water re-entering the boat. I also addressed the volume of water that is able to drain by opening up the two little OEM openings per side. I expect water to drain very quickly and none to remain in the boat.

I have delayed the
gelcoating of the hull by two weeks due to shop availability, but this should
take place the week of the 20th. This actually is better since I should be able
to prepare the interior and get the outside gelcoated on a Thur/Fri and spend
the weekend shooting the inside with Awlgrip, after the primer.
At this point, I refuse to clean until all the grinding/sanding is complete.
