Here we go. About to cut into a perfectly good and functional boat with hopes to make her better! We just can't help ourselves can we!


Here is a shot of a tree that is not very common in South Jersey, its called an outboard tree. It bears a fruit called a Johnson. I'll bet the wife just thinks that a tree that grows outboards is wonderful in her front yard!


The splash well and above deck fish boxes have been removed.


Here's the boat minus all the items mentioned above and a huge hunk of floor!


Pulled all the foam from the stern and started to open up the inner layer of glass.  The wood is really wet. Check out the crack (photo below) that had started from the flexing of the rotted core.  It was under the old splash well, it wasn't visible until the splash well was cut away.
