The plywood for the core was glued together with epoxy resin and a layer of 1.5 oz mat between the sheets.

The corners were rounded with epoxy/cabosil fillets.

I got the core glued into the boat yesterday. I was able to get the greenhouse up to 65 degrees, but the resin still went off really slow. Considering the problems that having it go off too quick would cause, I guess I should not complain. Wednesday night I dry fit the core, which as you know I glued together several weeks ago. I predrilled some holes and used lag bolts to draw it up tight. I got up really early yesterday and started the heat pumping into the greenhouse. About 9:00 I mixed up some thickened resin and toweled it across the outside skin to fill in any low spots. Mixed some more resin and layed up a layer of 1.5oz mat, then a layer of 1808. Stuck the core in and pulled it up just tight enough to get a little ooze out of the holes. Had some honey do stuff, so that was it for the day.

Tomorrow is supposed to be really mild, so I hope to finish the lay-up tomorrow. I am going to mix some more thickened resin and work it into the void between the core and hull sides. Then 4 layers of that 2415 mat I bought. I have a feeling that stuff is going to suck up the resin quick.
I wanted to show you how I get treated around the house. I end up laying on the floor b/c the wife, dog, and cat take over the couch.
