Here are the scarfs cut on the stringer knees. The dry fit on them is quite good.


I got my knees glued in with some epoxy and cabosil. I went with the epoxy on the stringers and knees for that little bit more secondary bond strength and the wood friendly characteristics.


I got the two port side knees glassed in too. That went ok, not great. My first layer of 1808 went down flawless, the second and third layers got a few bubbles that I had to work with. The curved angle that I put in the knees made getting the fabric to lay flat a little bit of a challenge. I don't think they are going anywhere.
