We were lucky enough to find some help in the woods. A can of Crisco from someone's kitchen was a big help for the trailer bunks.

We set up Bobby's A-frame and a come-along. Bobby would left the bow about 3 feet while Jason Steckler put the muscle on the winch. We had to stop and reset about 5 times and we were done!

A short tow the the pavement!

Damage... Not as bad as you may think. Jason was in the middle of restoring the hull to begin with. He and I put a new transom in the hull in the Spring and over the summer he rebuilt the console and inner liner. About 2 weeks before Hurricaine Katrina, he had painted the innerliner and transom with Awlgrip and rolled a fresh non-skid on the decks. During the storm the console was crushed when it got stuck under the house in the rising tide. The toe rail and transom cap was torn up a bit. Otherwise, the hull only sustained gelcoat deep scratches and scuffs.
