The hull was hand blocked with 180gt. it was then primed with Awlgrip 545. Then it was hand blocked with 220gt.


A very light mist coat was sprayed on and let sit for 45min. Then another heavier coat was laid to get the hull one color. Another 45min wait and a top coat was shot on it.

Total volume of material mixed was 1qt of Awlgrip Super Jet Black, 1qt of Awl-Cat Converter with 16oz of reducer. There was 1/2qt of sprayable material left over after the 3 coats were sprayed. This was very surprising to me how little material was used.

This is my 1st time shooting Awlgrip. I'm very pleased with it. I've shoot a lot of different paint and this is one of the easier paint to shoot. The last pix is of the reflection of my hand to show how much mirror effect this stuff has. Let me tell'ya. The pix don't do it justice.
