I cut another hole in the bottom of the boat today. This is for the Livewell drain. PVC tube was epoxied into the hole. A 1 1/2in Bronze Thru-hull fitting and Seacock goes here. I had to do a lot of checking and even made a template of the bottom of the motor bracket to make sure it was right.
In the next pix's after getting the hatch to access the bilge I got the livewell placed where it needed to be. The problem is the fill fitting. This Kodiak livewell has all the fittings thru the bottom. No exposed hoses or clamps to catch things on.
The bilge was primed with Awlgrip 545 and then coated with Tile Cad HS epoxy coating from Sherwin Williams. Two bilge pumps are installed. Rule 1500 GPH and 2000 GPH
